Shot from the Inner Harbor in Baltimore Maryland on a beautiful day filled with amazing clouds as Old Glory flies on the ship The Constitution and off in the distance Federal Hill which gives a great view of the city.
At a family wedding in Eureka South Dakota last October 2015 I stayed out late at the house we were staying in (also the home of the man who started the USA Today Newspaper) to do some astrophotography and some star trails. Here is one of the many night photos I took.
View of the Rappahannock River from the Kings Hwy Bridge at Night
Standing on the Kings Highway Bridge on William street in Fredericksburg Virginia at night overlooking the Rappahannock River as the moon tries to shine through a misty overcast sky. The Amtrack bridge off in the distance was being illuminated by some men in boats as they swept lights across the far bridge every few seconds.
During our nighttime walk around the historic part of Fredericksburg we came upon this old stone warehouse. This was at street level. There were 3 or 4 more floors below it where it drops off to the Rappahannock River which is just behind it. The moon looked so mysterious. Loved the textures and the colors of this scene.
Near the Sarah Constant Park in Ocean View in Norfolk Virginia right by the Chesapeake Bay are these unusual trees with unusual shaped trunks and branches by time or the weather. Very interesting looking.
